You may download a Bricks'n'Tiles sample file which shows how to create a seamless tileable brick texture (file size 300 KB):
Click right on the above image, then select "Save Target As" and save the file as "RedBricks.bricks". Now start Bricks'n'Tiles, open the file and press the Update Button.
Try loading your own brick and mortar files or change the default parameters and you will see how it is working.
Have fun!

There is also a sample file available that shows how to create a bump map for this brick texture: click here

Looks like above link doesn't work. The same with link to redbricks_bump.bricks.
By the way: I would like to know how to create english bond (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brickwork#English_bond), just like this one on the picture above. And I have no idea how to do this. In the "brick size" I can only set one size at a time, while I need two sizes - for header and for stretcher. And how to achieve an effect of two interlacing layers of headers and stretchers?
After all - Brick'n Tiles looks to be what I was looking for.

Hi traditor,
thank you for your posting. The sample files are also included in the setup package of Bricks'n'Tiles. After the installation you can find them in the program folder. But I would say, that the brick pattern is called "Flemish bond", actually the "English bond" is not possible with the current version, because you cannot define different brick sizes for each row. But you can achieve this style by combining two brick textures that you have created with Bricks'n'Tiles.
The next version will btw. support English bond!

Yes, I was wrong and noticed later that it was flemish bond on this picture . And I thought about making english bond in the way you proposed.
May I ask when we all users can expect a new version of B&T Could you tell us what other improvements do you want to implement?
