Hello,
I am going to purchase the commercial version of this product.
My reading of the license is that I at least need the commercial version if I wish to use the resulting textures in images for commercial use.
May I also use this to make textures or texture collections that I can sell or give-away free?
I'm having trouble stating this in a clear way. But for example, if I take a picture of a nice brick and make a tileable texture jpg with it using BrickNTiles, may I sell or give away the jpg file?
Or does the commercial license mean that I may only use that jpg to tile something like a tower in one of my commerical renderings?
I understand of course in any case that I must start with brick and mortar images that I have the rights to use.
Thank-you,
Sonia |

Hi Sonia,
of course you may sell your textures made with the Bricks'n'Tiles commercial version. You do have all the rights on this textures, because you use Bricks'n'Tiles only as the tool to create them (as you would use PhotoShop or any other application ).
This is the same for the free version of Bricks'n'Tiles, the only limitation is that you are not allowed to purchase these textures (or use it in any other commercial way).
Best Regards,
Christian |
